A hundred years of service in Cary-Grove.
Cary-Grove Lodge #1157, A.F. & A.M., is a fraternity of local men who build character, friendship, and a stronger community.
About our lodge
Cary-Grove Lodge #1157 received its charter from the Grand Lodge of Illinois in October 1927. Since then, generations of local men have gathered here to improve themselves and serve their neighbors.
Freemasonry is a fraternal organization that furthers the principles of brotherhood. Men of many backgrounds and beliefs come together as friends, learn from one another, and give their time and resources to causes that matter in our town.
Brotherly Love
Lasting friendships among good men, built on respect.
Relief
Helping neighbors and families who need a hand.
Truth
Honor and integrity in our families, work, and community.
Part of the community
Our members give their time, talents, and resources to the people of Cary, Fox River Grove, and the surrounding area.
Annual Car Show
Since 2018 we have hosted a car show on the Sunday before Memorial Day. It typically features around 250 cars, and proceeds support our college scholarship program and local charities.
Scholarships
Funds raised through our events help send local students to college through the Cary-Grove Lodge scholarship program.
Food Pantry & Neighbors in Need
We support the Cary-Grove Food Pantry, including the Pack the Pantry drive, and have helped provide holiday meals and Christmas trees to local families.
Blood Drives
We have partnered with Heartland Blood Centers to host community blood drives and encourage neighbors to give.
Child & Family ID Program
Through the Illinois Masonic Family Identification Program, we offer free ID kits with fingerprints, a DNA sample, and photo and video so families are prepared in an emergency.
Students & Local Groups
We sponsor Cary-Grove High School in the Illinois Masonic Scholastic Bowl and have supported local organizations including WINGS and the Cary-Grove Jaycees.
